Vapotherm Appoints Marina Hahn and Elizabeth Weatherman to the Company’s Board of Directors

Exeter, NH – October 18, 2017Vapotherm, an advanced respiratory technology company providing innovative tools to treat the signs and symptoms of respiratory distress, today announced that Marina Hahn and Elizabeth Weatherman were appointed to the Board of Directors.

Ms. Hahn brings significant strategic marketing leadership expertise to Vapotherm. Ms. Hahn is the founder of M Hahn Associates, where she creates game-changing brands for entrepreneurial ventures, established businesses, and Fortune 500 corporations. Prior to founding M Hahn Associates, Ms. Hahn held many leadership positions, including; President of the Consumer Division at Flex Pharma, Chief Strategy Officer/Chief Marketing Officer at Quirky Inc., Chief Marketing Officer of Spirits Marque One LLC and Senior Vice President of Constellation Brands; Executive Vice President of J. Walter Thompson Company, Vice President of Advertising at Sony Electronics Inc. and Director of Advertising at the Pepsi-Cola Company. Ms. Hahn has previous board experience, serving as a Director of Celestial Seasonings Inc. and Director of Hain Celestial Group, Inc. She is also a member of the Business Leadership Council of Wellesley College. Ms. Hahn received a B.A. degree in French Literature and Political Science from Wellesley College.

Ms. Weatherman is a Special Limited Partner of Warburg Pincus. She joined Warburg Pincus in 1988 and during her 28 years at the firm she primarily focused on investment activities in the healthcare sector. She served as a member of the Executive Management Group from 2001 to 2016, and led the firm’s Healthcare Group from 2008 to 2015. She is a Director of Wright Medical Group, N.V. (NASDAQ: WMGI), and Silk Road Medical. Ms. Weatherman has twice been named to the Forbes’ Midas List recognizing the 100 most highly-regarded dealmakers in the venture capital industry, and she was the recipient of the 2014 Women of Power and Influence Award from the National Organization of Women. She serves on the on the Advisory Council of the Stanford Graduate School of Business, as a trustee and member of the Investment Committee of Mount Holyoke College, and a trustee of Saint Ann’s School in Brooklyn, NY, and previously served as a Director of the National Venture Capital Association. Ms. Weatherman received a B.A. in English, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Mount Holyoke College and holds an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
