EXETER, NH, September 6, 2017 – Vapotherm has expanded a Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) contract with the United States government, effective August 15, 2017. The contract simplifies the buying process for the 154 VA facilities, 14 Naval hospitals, and 33 Alaskan/Indian hospitals whose patients could benefit from Vapotherm High Velocity Nasal Insufflation (Hi-VNI®) technology.
“With the growing body of evidence supporting the use of Vapotherm Hi-VNI Technology, it’s important we make it as simple as possible for our government facilities to acquire our technology,” said Lise Halpern, Vice President of Marketing. “We’re delighted to expand this partnership.”
The contract was expanded to include the new Precision Flow® Plus system. This next-generation system leverages the Vapotherm Hi-VNI Technology platform with connectivity upgrades such as integration to hospital nurse call and electronic medical record (EMR) systems. The Precision Flow Plus is manufactured in Exeter, NH, and is utilized in over 1,000 hospitals to manage the signs and symptoms of respiratory distress secondary to many conditions including COPD, asthma, and pneumonia.
